Early Childhood Intervention
Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) provides specialised supports for children aged 0-9 years, who have developmental delays and/or disabilities. Services are tailored depending on the unique needs of children and their family/caregivers, to promote development, learning and participation in everyday activities. ECI services are generally provided under the NDIS Early Childhood Approach, however services can also be accessed through alternative pathways.
Who is eligible:
Children aged from 0 – 9 years can be referred to ECI services if they have adevelopmental delay or disability. Children without a formal diagnosis must be referred before their 6thbirthday.
